We must demonstrate godliness with our vote. A vote for a man who has a record of standing against Christian principles is a vote for evil. A vote for evil is a vote against Christ. It is a sin. For me, that is the bottom line. The ugly war, which no one (as you said) wants to be involved in, is secondary in this case. But, that fact notwithstanding, I agree that this conflict is far more complicated than mainstream media will ever tell you.Kevin, Somewhere in Southern Americahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08626012795690485950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22969832.post-4023200875777152132008-10-22T06:29:00.000-05:002008-10-22T06:29:00.000-05:00I appreciate this post. For instance, my roommate doesn't want to vote for McCain because she has 2 friends who were in the Army and had to go thru PTS counseling when they got back from time served in Iraq! She doesn't like the war...who does? But we can't just all of a sudden pull everyone out, there's so much more to it than we even know about. But people are voting who are so uneducated about what is going on. As Christians we should know what each candidate stands for, and those who support them (as you have mentioned here) are a great sign to that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22969832.post-59593016471242199772008-10-11T14:42:00.000-05:002008-10-11T14:42:00.000-05:00One of my friends suggested yesterday that we all ...One of my friends suggested yesterday that we all take a minute at 9 PM Eastern to pray for God to revive America before the election. Sounds good to me!

Hope all is well over your way.

KDSKevin, Somewhere in Southern Americahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08626012795690485950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22969832.post-81826043519127755642008-10-11T12:51:00.000-05:002008-10-11T12:51:00.000-05:00I so agree with you and am PRAYING hard for our na...I so agree with you and am PRAYING hard for our nation.
