Are You the Missionary or the Mission Field?

It's been a fast and furious three weeks since I posted anything. Teaching and then playing with my new grandson has taken up most of my time.

I saw a video today that I want to share below, if I can. Since I have never been able to get this blogspot to receive videos, I will simply post a link to it; please go here. But the video should be a challenge to every Christian who may read this. Our task is clear: be the missionaries or become the mission field. Watch the video and decide which you want to be.

Kevin, thanks for passing this on.
Chilling to say the least. This information, coupled with the disturbing news about the shortfall of the LMCO, should have every So. Baptist falling to their knees and at the same time reaching for their pocketbooks.

Hello, Mr. T,

I hope your last trip was a good one. We agree that things are going downhill at an alarming rate of speed. You nailed it as to our part of the solution. Let's pray for an awakening.

Hello, Brian,

As is true with most anything that circulates on the internet, unfortunately, some of the information in that video has been manipulated. There is, however, a truth to be gleaned from the video: the less we concern ourselves with engaging our societies with Christ the more of a mission field we will become.

I was in a conference last week with the president of Comibam, a missions organization for Ibero-american peoples. He asserted the EU recently decided that they will close the doors to immigration within the next 5 to7 years. The president of Comibam saw this as a double-edged cause from both sociological and religious factors. The world is being shaken. Now is the time to go forward.

Thanks for pointing to the link you mentioned.
